The garage will be the pièce de résistance of a Sydney penthouse under construction.
Four villas at 131 Victoria Road in Bellevue Hill, with a price guide of $15 million to $20 million, will feature an internal glass garage above the staircase, in front of the dining table, in the main living room.
Architect and interior designer Angus Henderson of Henderson & Co. tells Nine that the elegantly appointed two-car garages will "act as a stage for the living rooms".
The high-end project is the collaboration of Henderson & Co, residential building group Impero and luxury developers Skyland Group.
With just the flick of a switch, the buyer will be able to change the garage's glass from frosted to clear, should they wish to put their "automotive art" on display.
The glass chosen is also double-glazed and crash-resistant, complementing the liquid metal brass-finished doors, stone floors and curved highlight windows.
As stated on the listing, the penthouses have been designed to "transport residents to another world" with their quality finishes and attention to detail.
From street level, the villas will appear as one grand home set behind wrought-iron gates.
Each four-bedroom, six-bathroom penthouse will boast its own private lift, pool, stone-clad spa and terrace with full outdoor kitchen.
The buyer will be able to relax in style with the interiors featuring statement chandeliers, coffered ceiling lights, oak parquetry floors and silk upholstered bedroom walls.
All of the bedrooms will be located on the same level, separating the living zones.
Bellevue Hill is an upscale locale on Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Each penthouse offers breathtaking views across Sydney Harbour.
